Blueberry Delight Smoothie

This smoothie used to cost me $5 every time I purchased it as an undergraduate in college. It is indeed a meal by itself!

Without revealing too much of what it was named, I will describe what was in the smoothie. It has blueberries, strawberries, peaches, a banana, pineapple juice, and unsweetened almond vanilla milk, and honey. I would usually get a probiotic in it. When I started making it myself, I started throwing a half of an avocado (when I had it) in there as well…. but one wedge would do. I also do not make it without spirulina now-a-days.

I used to buy all organic fruit, but as the wallet thinned, I now understand that God will bless the food He has given us to eat if we pray over it. Be sure to pray and use the best you can afford. I now use frozen blueberries, strawberries, and peaches for this smoothie. I blend for about a minute in a high-speed blender. I don’t like chunks. If I am adding the avocado, I throw that in last after everything is blended.

This is a wonderful refreshing and filling smoothie! I hope you like it as much as I do! It makes about a quart in the end. I usually split it with my brother.
